I hope this update finds each of you well.
First off I wanted to congratulate Mr.Greg Simkins on his new show "The Escape Artist" which had it's opening this past Saturday at The Merry Karnowsky Gallery http://kpprojects.net/ The work is stunning and if you have the chance I encourage you to see it in person. Hola, Howdy, Hey all!
Dan here and I just need a moment of your time. Usually we like to keep these lines of communication open strictly for "I'm Scared" business so I appreciate you taking this little detour with me.
First off if you found yourself humming along to the song "Worried One" that play's over "I'm Scared's" credits, you're half way to being a fan of the Band.

Along with my good friend and band mate Rob Faucette we make up The C Words, a fun little Folk/Country adjacent band. For the last year we've been recording an album. We're done and now we'd like to press it into a Vinyl record. Producing a record isn't easy and pressing vinyl, even harder.
Please, give it a look. You don't have to give money, even just sharing the project with the folks in your life is a huge help!! We're close and we know we can make it with a community of support.

Festivals, awards, and our sweet sweet friends!

Hi Scouts,
We wanted to share some news with you all in case you're not following I'm Scared on social media. I'm Scared continues to tour film festivals and we've even picked up a couple of awards! At the Maryland International Film Festival, we won Best Animation 2017. And at Iowa's Snake Alley Festival of Film, we just picked up Best of the Fest this last weekend. You read that correctly, we won the prize for best film in the entire festival!!! What?!? In SNAFF's 6-year history, this is the first time that Best of the Fest has been awarded to an animated film, which we're pretty psyched about!
Over the past year, I'm Scared has shown in the USA, Canada, England, Brazil, Czech Republic, Kosovo, Italy, and Spain! In the United States, we've screened in California, New York, Louisiana, Maryland, Kansas, Iowa, and Washington state.

We also wanted to give a shout-out to Friends of the Film Michael & Sarah Banks. They've given their time helping out our team with the logistics of screenings, vinyl toy unveilings, and you'll even be able to catch us (and our goods) along side of Sugar Fueled at the San Diego Comic Con booth 1603.
